IT Support Technician

Austin Staffing, Inc. is now hiring an experienced IT Support Technician to managing day-to-day IT systems and networks for our client in North Austin. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT systems and networks for a contact center of Customer Service Agents that support various video game and medical insurance companies. You will ensure that contact center runs smoothly as the IT Support Technician. You will need to be capable of providing a full range of back office administrative functions. Each day, the IT Support Technician will have to solve new issues in a timely manner. Job Responsibilities:

- Provide desktop support

- Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems

- Maintain and update Active Directory

- Promote and maintain consistent adherence to established company policies

- Desktop and Server Support in fats moving, dynamic environment

- Report all identify training, cross-training, and skill improvement needs to the Site Manager

- Maintain a working knowledge of programs and systems

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware

- Develop and implement programs designed to foster a positive working environment

- Provide a weekly report to management.

- Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems

- Provide feedback to Stakeholders

- Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements

- Consistently contribute to the Management Team's objectives by active teamwork

- Contribute to the ongoing improvement process through suggestions and self-development

- Perform administering duties (i.e., gathering of report data, etc.) as required

- Perform other duties as needed

- Manage vendors and clients

Skills:

- Reliability, Initiative, and Follow Through are highly emphasized

- Information Technology expert

- Working knowledge and experience with personal computers, Microsoft Suite, and proprietary software.

- Goal driven and Time Management

- Ability to diagnose problems through basic root cause analysis

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Detail and results oriented

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Required Experience/Education:

- Three years of prior IT Support experience preferred

- Certifications are preferred, but not required

- Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion

- Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications including Active Directory

- Bachelor degree or equivalent work history preferred
