Office Administrative Assistant

Austin Staffing, Inc is now hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Hutto, TX based construction client. This is a small family-owned business and a great place to work! The contract is a 6-month contract to hire position. You must be located within a reasonable commuting distance from Hutto, Texas.


  • Provide administrative support for the owner.
  • Assist accounting with invoicing, collections, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Answer phone calls; interact with customers and provide accurate information to callers.
  • Be the main point of contact for office management tasks, and the face of the company for guests, customers, clients.
  • Review, process, and file paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with clients, customers, and contractors..


  • Experience as an administrator that has had accounting responsibilities.
  • Familiar with working with QuickBooks.
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Solid excel skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Effective communication skills – Bilingual, English, and Spanish are preferred.
  • Experience using Google Docs.
  • Familiarity with ADP.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Must be a self-starter and a fast learner.
  • Must be able to manage your time effectively.
  • Must have excellent phone skills as you will be talking to customers and subcontractors.
  • Must be personable and friendly.
  • Must have self-discipline.
  • Must be punctual.
