Austin Staffing, Inc is now hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Hutto, TX based construction client. This is a small family-owned business and a great place to work! The contract is a 6-month contract to hire position. You must be located within a reasonable commuting distance from Hutto, Texas.
- Provide administrative support for the owner.
- Assist accounting with invoicing, collections, payroll, and general ledger.
- Answer phone calls; interact with customers and provide accurate information to callers.
- Be the main point of contact for office management tasks, and the face of the company for guests, customers, clients.
- Review, process, and file paperwork
- Communicate effectively with clients, customers, and contractors..
- Experience as an administrator that has had accounting responsibilities.
- Familiar with working with QuickBooks.
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
- Solid excel skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Effective communication skills – Bilingual, English, and Spanish are preferred.
- Experience using Google Docs.
- Familiarity with ADP.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Must be a self-starter and a fast learner.
- Must be able to manage your time effectively.
- Must have excellent phone skills as you will be talking to customers and subcontractors.
- Must be personable and friendly.
- Must have self-discipline.
- Must be punctual.
