Summary:


Austin Staffing, Inc. is hiring a full-time Sales Assistant for our Leander based master-planned community client. This opportunity requires a results-oriented individual, who thrives on building relationships and accepting new challenges within a fast-paced environment. The Sales Assistant will interact directly with prospective home buyers, vendors, local businesses, and Realtors selling the community. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possess strong communication abilities, analytical, and can multi-task.


Responsibilities:

o Is a guru with social media and content

o Assist the Lifestyle Director in planning, promoting, and executing a robust annual calendar of events

o Support the Lifestyle Director and Marketing Team in implementing the strategic communications plan

o Build partnerships with local businesses, organizations, city officials and schools

o Coordinate event logistics including rental vendors, spaces, contracts, and rental set-ups

o Research new marketing avenues as well as opportunities for revenue-generating advertising, programs, tours, and rentals

o Help with the promotion of events, activities, classes, and clubs through various channels

o Monitor the flow of walk-in customers including greeting clients, answering basic questions and making them feel welcome i.e. offering refreshments, etc.

o Registering prospective buyers and Realtors

o Answer telephone calls and direct client inquiries to the appropriate point of contact

o Provide superior customer service to prospective homeowners, Realtors, and residents

o Preparing, mailing and/or delivering resident and Realtor marketing collateral as needed

o Data entry for customer and Realtor profile information into system and file accordingly

o Maintain clean and tidy welcome center i.e. dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, keeping the coffee bar stocked, taking out the garbage as required




Qualifications:

o 1-2 years marketing, administrative or customer service related experience

o Property management experience

o Knowledge of WordPress CMS and social media marketing

o Demonstrate ownership and sense of urgency in resolving issues in a fast-paced environment

o Strong Microsoft Office skills required including, Word, Excel, and Outlook

o Demonstrate strong customer focus and service

o Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task in order to handle multiple projects and priorities

o Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and platform speaking

o Ability to work independently and in a team environment; willing to pitch in as needed

o Capable of standing for extended periods of time


Preferred Skills / Knowledge

o Experience/knowledge of the home building or real estate industry is a plus

o Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus

o Photography skills beneficial

o Familiarity with blogging and all social media outlets
